Abstract

In this work, we take a tour of the neo-police aesthetic and its ways of representing crime. Within this genre, we are interested in a particular type of aggression themed by police literature and which is set against women. There is violence conceived or consented to by state institutions that often manifest themselves as acts of repression and corruption. But there are also acts of violence that take place in private spaces, invisible to official records and that are present only when the excess of the act "pierces the membrane" of concealment and is made public. Gender violence is one of these forms that become visible, many times, only when it becomes femicide. Neo-police literature has registered the subject of femicide to build the complaint of an event that goes beyond the rules that explain social dynamics. In this article we deploy an analysis of the representations of violence in Los que duermen en el polvo and La soledad del mal by Horacio Convertini, novel literary exercises in the use of literary genres and the construction of the lonely misogynist crossed by the essentiality of evil
